The Canadian Film Centre’s Media Lab and the Cultural Service of the Embassy of France in Canada announced “Enterprising Culture”, an international forum focused on Franco-Canadian creative and cultural industry start-ups. Forum Avignon joined the initiative as a partner.

The two-day programme was scheduled for Toronto on 28 and 29 September 2025. It also introduced the Cultural Start-up Award, with a jury of French and Canadian experts reviewing the participating ventures.

Twelve finalists were selected to present their work. Their projects covered cultural discovery, music, live entertainment, storytelling, publishing, immersive media and tools for new forms of audience participation.
